Le relai du concept Eurocorps-Légion étrangère a été fait aux Palais des Nations et siège des Nations Unies à Genève lors de la table ronde clôturant la journée du 60ème anniversaire et commemoration des missions de maintien de la paix des Nations Unies, le 29 de mai 2008. La déclaration de relai de compétence a été faite suite aux déclarations par les ambassadeurs de l'Inde, le Nepal et le Nigéria et du représentant de l'ambassadeur du Bangladesh aux Nations Unies. La table ronde a été présidé par S.E. Sergei Ordzhonikidze, directeur-général du siège de l'ONU à Genève (UNOG).

Déclaration par S.E. Sergei Ordzhonikidze, Directeur Général des Nations Unies à Genève, que fût répétée au début de la table ronde commemorant le 60ème anniversaire des missions de paix des Nations Unies

The relay of the Eurocorps-Foreign Legion concept was made at the Palais des Nations and United Nations main office in Geneva at the closing roundtable of the 60th anniversary and commemoration of United Nations peace-keeping missions, 29th May 2008. The statement of relay of competency was made after the statements by the ambassadors of India, Nepal, Nigeria and the representative of the Bangladeshi ambassador. The round table was presided by H.E. Sergei Ordzhonikidze, director-general of the UN Office in Geneva (UNOG).

Following the statement of relay at the closing roundtable, the Soldiers of Peace International Association can undertake the formal representation of the Eurocorps-Foreign Legion concept in the framework of the United Nations in Geneva and elsewhere. Furthermore, M. Laurent Attar-Bayrou, international president of the Soldiers of Peace International Association, can present the Eurocorps-Foreign Legion concept without modification in the United Nations framework in Geneva and elsewhere.

Suite à la déclaration de relai de compétence lors de la table ronde, l'Association Internationale des Soldats de la Paix peut engager la représentation formelle du concept Eurocorps-Légion étrangère dans le cadre des Nations Unies à Genève et ailleurs. De plus, M. Laurent Attar-Bayrou, président international de l'Association des Soldats de la Paix, peut présenter le concept Eurocorps-Légion étrangère sans modification dans le cadre des Nations Unies à Genève et ailleurs.
